Spacious rooms and polished pine floors in the main house create a unique atmosphere and touch of African luxury. Our Zebra room is designed to also accommodate wheelchair users with a roll in shower room. Situated near the base of the Langeberg Mountain Range, 500m from the centre of Swellendam, nestled in a beautiful indigenous garden, this guesthouse offers superb accommodation in a peaceful setting. Whether you opt for one of the three rooms in the main house or the affordable self-catering cottage, the Marloth mountain trails are but a short walk away. Three spacious en-suite double/twin rooms in the main house (all of which can accommodate extra beds if required) can be booked on a bed and breakfast basis. The whole house is completely wheelchair accessible with the Zebra room & its en-suite shower room designed to meet the specific needs of wheelchair users. We had a wonderful stay in the giraffe room (absolutely loved how all the rooms were decorated according to theme). The hosts Dave & Amanda were super-nice and the rooms adorable. It is well equipped and is an excellent base for those who want to explore the Overberg by car, foot, motor bike or bicycle. It has two separate bedrooms and a living area and kitchen with a back door opening onto the verandah and garden. The kitchen has a microwave, a cooker, a fridge freezer, crockery and cutlery are all supplied. There is also a breakfast bar, where you can sit and gaze at the stunning views while you munch your toast. The Zebra Room, in the main house, an en-suite double room fully adapted for wheelchair users, with wide doors and easy access to the washing facilities and shower. You can enjoy your evening in the lounge with an open fireplace or sit out on the terrace overlooking the mountains, with a sun-downer.
